Mom Life – Secret Agent Baby Game

As a parent you need to get creative with entertaining your child, especially when they are teeny and can’t do much at all. I’ve made up songs and games just to make Valeria smile and laugh, especially when she is a grumpy pants.

But I came up with a game called Secret Agent Baby and jokingly altered the song ‘Secret Agent Man‘ by Johnny Rivers to Secret Agent Baby. Valeria now gets so excited when I start to sing it to her because she knows what we’re about to play.

Now this is all I do, and don’t judge because I’m SUPER careful with my daughter when I do this. I stand her on my belly with my hands supporting her under her armpits, I start to sing her “theme song” and start wiggling her bum, she starts to laugh and by the end of it, I lift her above my head and slowly repel her down toward me, her face nearly touching mine before I lay her down on my belly. She laughs and smiles and has a grand old time.

My husband and I were joking around the other day, saying we should play around with AI images and see what would come up when we prompted for a “Secret Agent Baby.” I laughed, turned to the computer as my husband was holding Valeria and did exactly that. Oh man did those images give us a good laugh and actually came out pretty good! I’ll post a few below.

The last one is my favourite, but all pretty hilarious nonetheless. My little Secret Agent Baby!

What songs or games have you come up with for your little ones?

Ciao!!

  1. That is so adorable! So many fun things and kids are so open to it! I sing everything to my grandson when he gets fussy which is usually when he doesn’t want to do what we are doing but wants to do something else. Always the same tune but different words making them up as I go. Like’ “wash your hands wash your hands, (insert made up stuff here) wash your face, wash your face(insert made up stuff) dry your hands…you get the drill LOL then always followed up with “that was so much fun! Good job! I am so proud of you 🙂 🙂 It seems to redirect his energy and turns the almost tantrum into task done 🙂

    1. haha is it bad that I was singing that in my head as I was reading it? “Wash your hands, wash your hands..” You know you have kids when lol I do that too, telling my daughter it was fun and good job, which she possibly doesn’t understand but it’s just habit. And I agree it redirects tantrum energy into a more pleasant/productive energy.

  2. Hahaha this sounds like so much fun. We used to have a hard time getting Dalila to sleep so we altered a certain lullaby to make it special for her then we’d both singing if we were putting her to sleep 😂
