It was an early Saturday morning, I was going out with my mother this morning to run a few errands. We also had to make a stop at Costco, which we usually avoid on weekends due to the fact it is even more of a madhouse than during the week.
I don’t enjoy going to Costco on any day of the week, it literally gives me anxiety. I tend to walk in happy and fine and walk out agitated and annoyed. I went on Thursday by myself during the day, but when I was going over the receipt at home, I noticed that I was charged for something twice. Hence why I had to head back there, plus mom wanted the company since she had to grab a few things.
We tried making the trip in there quick, but my goodness there was so much happening and people who no manners what so ever. I got a few books for Valeria, well I picked them out, technically grandma got them for her. Each of the books are adorable, two of them are sensory and the last a pop-up. Grandma picked out the giant stuffed animal, it had the chocolate bar attached, but neither of us liked it so we detached it from the bear.

My husband was kind enough to stay with Valeria while I ran around. When I got home she was fast asleep with him. Mom and I quickly unloaded the groceries, sorting what needed to go to my brother/Nonna and what needed to stay at the house.
After that was completed, I had some leftovers for lunch before Valeria woke up. Once she was awake we played for a bit and Anthony went out to the backyard to skip some rope and hit the punching bag. Valeria than went to sit and play with grandma and grandpa. I have to say my parents are so wonderful with her, they make her laugh and smile constantly.
Valeria’s teeth have been bugging her terribly the last few days and thankfully, she let my mom touch her gums. It seems that one little tooth is starting to poke out at the bottom. It only took forever! She has been extra drooly, but we were able to find this neat little bib that has teething rings attached. Double duty!
Bonus it turned out to be a beautiful day! I am so ready for the warmer weather and being outside all the time. It was just a tad chilly, but the sun was so glorious. We decided to take Valeria for a walk, which she slept for a little bit, but then just sat watching everything pass by. We took a good 45 minute walk and just enjoyed the weather together.
I’m writing this a little early today, but we are off to dinner at my Nonna’s place to spend time time with her. Also to help out my mom a little bit since she needs to spend the night there. My brother, who lives with her, is going out for the evening (a rarity). We will go over once Valeria wakes up from her nap, which at the moment she has been sleeping for about an hour and a bit. I should probably get her things together in her diaper bag and make her bottles.
I’m going to end it here and get ready. I hope you had a wonderful day wherever you are in the world!
Ciao!!
