Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?
This is a hard one because there are a few quotes I often think about and it depends what I’m going through at the moment really. But one I’ve spoken about before and the other is just the philosophy of Italians in general, wherever you may be in the world.
The first being the quote from the movie ‘The Crow’ and to me, an iconic scene.
“Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children.” – Eric Draven (Brandon Lee)
Before I had children the quote was just beautiful to me, now I appreciate it much more as a mother. And I remind myself every day to be a good role model, to be a guide my daughter through life and to love her unconditionally as God does.

The second is a pretty well known quote and a cultural philosophy lived by Italians.
‘La Bella Vita’
Now, not really sure who first said this, I think Italians just adopted this as a way of life. For those who don’t know it means ‘The Beautiful Life’. Essentially this means to appreciate and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Don’t make work your life, spend time with friends and family, eat well, travel and enjoy your life.
Sadly hard to do over here in the Western side of the world for the most part, we make work our lives here sadly. Maybe I should just move to Italy….would that be possible? Can I make that dream a reality?
Maybe someday, but for now, those are two quotes I often think about. I hope you liked them!

Mama on the Move 
Great quotes! My favorite quotes come from my doctor. He told them to my son during his different visits as a child. One was, “if God wanted you perfect, He would have made you that way” and the second was, “God loves you so much He created you just so He could spend all of eternity with you” It is never too early OR too late to make that or any of your dreams come true 🙂

Oh I love those! I have to say, I am liking your doctor more and more as you talk about him lol He sounds like a very wise and nice man 🙂 And maybe my dream of moving to Italy will come true some day, just maybe!

He is the kindest and closest thing to a saint I have ever met 🙂 Of course it will BUT you might find your dream will change 🙂 Mine have changed dozens of times over the decades. 🙂

Oh of course, I’m sure it will and hopefully in the best interest for our children. We will see what the future holds, I leave that in God’s hands to guide us though 🙂

hahaha like Mama like daughter 🙂 she will even out or she won’t. Everyone even babies have their own unique personalities and traits.
