Here is another of my weird and wild creations for Halloween this year. It’s become apparent that the shroud skulls and heads are very in this season and of course I found lots for purchase. However, I didn’t want to spend $40 on something I thought I could create for, well cheaper.
As you can see in the image below, some of my crafting supplies I picked up from Michael’s, but for this project I for the facial statue (or maybe it was meant to be a planter as the head was hollow) for 70% off and I believe the regular price was $25. The cheese cloth I used I already had on hand, the Hodge Podge I had to purchase, the foam ball I got from the dollar store, along with the white and gold paint and brushes.

I’m pretty thrilled with how this turned out all things considered. It may not be the completely creepy shrouded woman you see out there in the stores, but it’s eerie nonetheless! And NO it’s not perfect and I had to hand paint all the cloth once it was dried (multiple times), but I think it’s a piece I can honestly say is one of a kind! It will be a nice addition to my Halloween decorations!
Hope you enjoyed this post and it has inspired you to get creative! Until next time.
Ciao!
P.S. – This did end up being WAY cheaper than the store bought ones. Okay bye!

Well, I am not a Halloween fan but I am for the creative. Recently I did consider as a gardener molding pots of my own after realizing how expensive flower pots are at the plants nurseries. I was inspired by a video that I watched on YouTube and when my wife saw it, she said, surely you can do that and cut costs.
Well, a few false starts, it was bingo!

Oh that sounds like an incredible project for your garden! It also makes it more meaningful to have something you created in a place that is already beautiful to you. I will have to take a look and see your post about it! You can make it special and get the kids to paint a few pots, if they wanted to of course. A little piece of the entire family ❤
