Bonus – WordPress Prompt – Most Important….Hmmm

What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?

For myself, there are three things I need to have on me at all times.

  1. My necklace with my cross and cornicello – It doesn’t really leave my neck ever and it feels strange when I don’t have it on. If you don’t know what a cornicello is, I will link a photo below.
  2. My promise ring – My husband and I aren’t currently married, but we have been together so long that we pretty much are. He gave me a ring as a promise to love one another always and that one day we will get married. When I don’t wear it on my ring finger, it almost feels awkward.
  3. Coyote Spray – We can’t get pepper spray in Canada, but my husband kindly bought me coyote spray to carry with me when I’m out alone, especially when it’s just me and my daughter. Girl has to protect herself by any means necessary.

These are just things I find most important to carry with me at all times, so I’m sorry WordPress, I couldn’t just narrow it down to one. But so be it!

August Goals

I realize I’ve been slacking on these because I’m pretty positive I didn’t do a recap for June and July was….well a mess and I was all over the place. I do try to do these the first of the month, but here we are August 4th and I’m currently working on this list. Let’s take a look at what I completed and maybe add a few new tasks to the mix!

  • Shave my dog – Done (Finally!) It wasn’t perfect, but she’s much cooler now for summer
  • Clean
  • Re-arrange the living room – Done
  • Sell some things we don’t need – household items
  • Continue at least two walks a day
  • Continue counting calories
  • Increase my water intake to two 40 oz tumblers a day, at least
  • Clean out the wagon and water/sand put plastic turtle my brother gave us
  • Tidy up the garden – Done, but the weeds keep coming back! HELP!!!
  • Finish my novel – Done and not my novel, but the one I was reading. Already wrote my review
  • Review a new Anime show I’ve been watching and loving!

Okay, okay, not the best, but it’s always a work in progress isn’t it? I take each day as it comes and with Valeria being high energy I try to get things completed when she sleeps.

But let’s add a few more to the list for good measure shall we?

  • Get shoes for the wedding for my husband and myself
  • Wash Valeria’s dress for the wedding
  • Get blood work done
  • Tidy up my desk
  • Tidy up the cabinets in the bathroom
  • Pack things we aren’t using in a tote bin
  • Clean up the Laundry room
  • Order tea light candles
  • Clean up the living room
  • Go through summer clothing and begin packing some things away
  • Go through Valeria’s clothing (She is growing like crazy!)
  • Finish up a few art projects

I’m going to call it there, because the list can seriously be endless to be honest. Hopefully I get more done this month than last, but it’s going to be a very busy month indeed; birthday party, cousin’s reunion, and a wedding. Not to mention this is the last few weeks of Valeria’s swimming lessons. Always on the move!
