Now I’m no mechanic, but this is annoying beyond belief.
My brother was using my car a few weeks ago and informed my mother that he thought my car had an oil leak, she mentioned it to me but I didn’t think anything of it since I didn’t notice an oil leak at all. Now this past week, my dad mentioned it again to my mom.
Why no one ever comes to me directly I don’t know.
So, I asked my husband yesterday if he could take a look. I have no idea what to do and he’s been changing the oil on my car since last year.
What’s annoying about all this that I have my driver’s test for my G license grade at the end of May. I can’t have my car leaking oil, what if something happens?! Needless to say I’m freaking out, not only for the driving test but from this stupid leak.
With all my fear, my husband took a look today. He said there is a small leak and that some plug/bolt was loose. He tightened it and put cardboard under my car. He said if it’s still leaking then it could be the washer that needs replacing. I’ll take his word for it, because honestly no sensors or anything have come on in the car. He’ll check my oil stick later, though I do need an oil change soon.
I really hope it was just a loose bolt and it’s fixed. I can’t bare to take it in to the mechanic. We’ll check the cardboard tomorrow and see.
